Candle Use Instructions 

Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, such as a candle plate to prevent damage to your furniture.

Trim the candle’s wick to ¼” before each lighting or burn.  Also, be sure to trim the candle’s wick once your candle has fully cooled after burning it.  Trimming the candle’s wick helps to minimize excessive smoke and soot.  Never leave any of the trimmed candle wick pieces in the candle container.  Be sure to discard trimmed wick pieces in the garbage.

If your wick is leaning or curls over after burning the candle, straighten the wick so that it is upright only after the candle wick and wax have properly cooled.  Then trim the wick accordingly.

Be sure to allow the candle wax to fully melt to the sides of the container on every burn.  This may take up to 1+ hours to fully melt all the wax on the sides of the container.  This is important in order to prevent your candle from tunneling, where there is a significant amount of wax left of the side of the candle container.

Do not burn your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time.

Do not pick up your candle container while it is burning or immediately after it has burned.  Allow the candle wax and container to cool down before handling.

Stop burning the candle when there is ¼” of wax left in the container.  This will prevent the container from overheating and breaking.
